Your Receptionist/Customer Service Team:     
Julie (Head Receptionist) grew up in Baton Rouge, LA (Geaux Tigers!) and moved to Houston in 2006 when she married her husband, Mike.  She is an active member of Houston's First Baptist Church.  She has 2 furry children Samson, a rat terrier/chihuahua and Mariah, a rescued Boxer.  She has worked at Champions Forest Animal Clinic since 2008.  Thanks to Dr. Sartor, she is now an avid Aggie! Whoop! 
 
 
 
 
Cason grew up in a small town outside Atlanta, Ga.  She graduated with a B.S. in Animal and Poultry Science from Virginia Tech in 2005.  After a short stint in Ashville, NC, she and her husband moved to Houston in May 2010.  In her free time, she enjoys pursuing equestrian sports, including Hunter/jumper and Combined Driving.  She has one dog, Lancer and 2 cats- Mr. Miata and a geriatric cat named Abby who thinks she is a dog!  She travels internationally as often as possible and reads incessantly.  If she's not at the barn, you can find her curled up in a chair reading a book!




Your Veterinary Nurse/Technician Team:

Kim (Head Technician) has served as a veterinary technician for Champions Forest Animal Clinic since 2007.  She has been a full-time technician since 2003.  Kim earned a B.S. in General Agriculture with a minor in Business from Sam Houston State University.  She teaches hunter safety to the public for the Texas Parks and Wildlife.  She has two horses and three cats.  In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, hunting, shooting sporting clays and skeet, and reading.
 
 
Michelle RVT is a graduate of Auburn University earning a B.S. degree in 1994.  After working in the environmental field in Hawaii, she moved to Texas in 2000.  In 2006, Michelle graduated from Lonestar College as a Registered Veterinary Technician and has been working for Champions Forest Animal Clinic since 2008.  Currently, she is enrolled in paralegal studies and hopes to complete the program in 2012.  Michelle and her husband, Pete,  have 2 dogs, Bentley and Mikey, and 3 cats, Kyra, Sierra, and Toby.
 
 
 
 
Allison RVT graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Lone Star College- Tomball in 2010 with her Associates of Applied Science.  She has been working with Champions Forest Animal Clinic since March 2011 as a Registered Veterinary Technician.  Allison has 2 dogs, Chuy and Chuck, and two ferrets, Pinky and Paco.  She has been married to her husband, Matt, since 2008.  In her spare time, she likes to travel, read, and enjoy time with her husband, family, and friends.  






Jeannette RVT graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Lone Star College in 1993 with her Associates of Applied Science.  She has been working with Champions Forest Animal Clinic since July 2011 as a Registered Veterinary Technician.  She met her husband, Scott, while serving our country in the Navy.  She has been happily married for 25 years.  She is blessed with a wonderful son.  She has 2 dogs, Zeus and Jasmine, and 2 senior cats, Jupiter and Little Man.  She loves to fish, hunt, and spend time on her family property in East Texas.    







Your Support Staff (Animal Care) Team:

Courtney (Animal Care Manager) grew up on a small farm outside of Conroe.  She has been working for Champions Forest Animal Clinic since 2008.  Working with animals is her passion and she couldn't imagine doing anything else.  She is happily married and has a wonderful son! She is the proud owner of a crazy dog, Spartacus, who she rescued as a stray.  In her free time, she loves going to the movies and hanging with friends and family.




Peter is a veteran of the United States Army and served as a Sergeant in the Military Police Corps for 5 years.  He has worked many jobs in his life but Houston is where home is!  He loves animals very much and enjoys caring for your pets.  Peter says, "Champions Forest Animal Clinic has given me the best tools, knowledge, and training to care for and work with your pets, to help get them back on their 'paws'!"


     

Natalie is originally from Houston but raised in Rye, Tx.   From the age of 5 through 11, she lived on an exotic island off the coast of Australia.  Because of that experience, her dream is to become a marine biologist and work at Seaworld!  Natalie has always had a love for animals and could not imagine doing anything else!
