Dr. April Davis-Hernandez has always believed that veterinary medicine is about more than caring for animals—it’s about building meaningful relationships with the pets and families who trust her with their care. She graduated from the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995 and has spent 26 years practicing small animal medicine, specializing in the care of dogs and cats throughout West Texas.

One of Dr. Davis-Hernandez’s favorite parts of being a veterinarian is getting to know her clients and their pets over the years. She loves being a part of their stories, watching pets grow, and helping families provide the best possible care for their beloved companions.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Davis-Hernandez enjoys spending time with her family and her own furry crew, which includes two Australian Shepherds and a very spunky French Bulldog who keeps everyone entertained. On weekends, you can often find her and her husband exploring local treasures while “junkin’” or creating special memories with their grandchildren.

Dr. Davis-Hernandez’s passion for veterinary medicine, genuine compassion for animals, and dedication to the families she serves are what make her such a valued member of the veterinary community.
