Veterinary Technician
Eryn
At just 5 years old, Eryn discovered a lifelong passion for veterinary medicine. After joining her mom for a visit to the veterinarian with their family cat, she was amazed that there was a career dedicated to caring for animals every day. From that moment, she knew she wanted to work with pets.
For many years, she dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, but once she began working in a veterinary hospital, she discovered the incredible impact veterinary technicians have on patient care. She started her career as a veterinary assistant at 16 years old and has since dedicated 25 years to veterinary medicine, including 23 years as a technician.
Her favorite parts of veterinary medicine are venipuncture and anesthesia, where she enjoys combining technical skill with compassionate patient care. She has a special place in her heart for cats and has spent time working in cat rescue while living in Serbia. Many of her own cats are Serbian rescues—and yes, she has 21 cats. Her official response when asked why she has 21 is: “Because I do not want 22. Please don’t ask me to take another one.” 🐱
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys playing the cello, singing karaoke, archery, throwing weapons, and training her cats. Her dedication, unique experiences, and love for animals make her a valued member of the veterinary community.
