Jayson has been working in veterinary medicine for about a year after discovering his passion through a lifelong fascination with science. Growing up, he always looked forward to science labs in middle and high school, and that curiosity eventually led him to pursue a career where he could combine his love of science with his passion for caring for animals.

His favorite part of veterinary medicine is a tie between drawing blood and looking through the microscope—he enjoys the hands-on, investigative side of patient care and loves learning something new every day.

When he's not at the clinic, Jayson enjoys playing soccer, skating, and treating himself to a good donut. At home, he spends time with his two dogs, a Labrador mix named Milo and a Yorkie mix named Toby.
